Lucrul de la birou sau de acasă?

Sondaj Genesis Property: două treimi dintre români cred că sistemul hibrid de lucru va domina anul 2023, iar un sfert mizează pe munca doar de la birou

• Ca un birou să rămână atractiv, angajații vor facilități pe care nu le au acasă, spațiu personal și mai multe opțiuni de evoluție profesională

Peste patru din 10 români cred că un sistem hibrid, cu 3-4 zile pe săptămână de muncă de la birou, va domina anul 2023, iar mai mult de un sfert mizează pe sistemul cu 1-2 zile pe săptămână la birou. În același timp, un sfert dintre angajați cred că munca exclusiv de la birou va fi preponderentă în acest an, și doar 7% pariază pe munca exclusiv remote, arată un sondaj inițiat în luna octombrie de Genesis Property, în rândul a 1.031 de respondenți din toată țara.

Rezultatele studiului relevă că principalul beneficiu al prezenței fizice este interacțiunea în persoană cu colegii, iar 90% dintre respondenți consideră că facilitățile de la birou eficientizează comunicarea internă. Același procent (90%) este asociat persoanelor care cred că existența unor spații dedicate socializării și timpului liber ajută la integrarea mai facilă în colectiv și la consolidarea echipelor, dar și la un echilibru mai bun între viața profesională și cea personală. De asemenea, 8 din 10 respondenți consideră că astfel de spații le pot economisi timp.

Principalele așteptări ale românilor față de angajatori sunt ca aceștia să creeze condiții mai bune de lucru la birou, ca spațiu și facilități (48,7%), să ofere mai multe opțiuni de petrecere a timpului liber alături de colegi (32,1%) și să ajute angajații să se integreze mai bine în echipă (26,4%).

Jumătate din angajați vor parcuri și spații verzi lângă birou, peste o treime mizează pe zone pentru activități de recreere, și mai bine de un sfert vor, în proximitate, zone de restaurante și cafenele.

În ceea ce privește șansele crescute ale angajaților care vin la birou la promovare sau la o mărire de salariu, părerile românilor sunt împărțite – 15,2% sunt siguri de acest lucru, 37,5% spun că există o probabilitate, 33,2% spun că probabilitatea este ca acest lucru să nu se întâmple, iar 13,9% sunt siguri că prezența la birou nu va aduce și sporul salarial.

Sondajul Genesis Property privind „Campusul viitorului” a fost desfășurat, la nivel național, prin platforma iVox, pe un eșantion total de 1.031 de utilizatori de internet din România. Circa 58% dintre participanți sunt bărbați, aproape 72% au vârsta cuprinsă între 20 și 45 de ani, iar peste 42% au un venit net mai mare de 4.000 de lei.

Genesis Property Study: two thirds of Romanians believe that the hybrid work system will dominate 2023, and a quarter rely only on working from the office

Bucharest, March 9, 2023 – Over four out of 10 Romanians believe that a hybrid system, with 3-4 days per week of work from the office, will dominate the year 2023, and more than a quarter rely on the system with 1-2 days per week at the office. At the same time, a quarter of employees believe that work exclusively from the office will be prevalent this year, and only 7% bet on exclusively remote work, according to a survey run in October by Genesis Property, among 1,031 respondents nationwide.

“The study confirms that the future of work is hybrid. Employees want the flexibility to work from home or the office, depending on their unique needs and preferences. At the same time, we understand the value of in-person collaboration and socialisation for driving innovation and building strong team relationships. Precisely to meet this need, we are developing YUNITY Park, a modern concept that prioritises, through its ecosystem of options, flexibility, comfort and collaboration, essential for companies in their mission to attract and retain top talents,” said Maria Jianu (Tudorica), Commercial Real Estate Manager, Genesis Property.

The results of the study reveal that the main benefit of the physical presence is face-to-face interaction with colleagues, and 90% of respondents believe that office facilities make internal communication more efficient. The same percentage (90%) is associated with people who believe that the existence of spaces dedicated to socialisation and free time help with an easier integration in the collective and a strengthening of teams, but also with providing a better balance between professional and personal life. Also, 8 out of 10 respondents believe that such spaces can save them time.

The main expectations of Romanians from their employers are for them to create better working conditions in the office, such as space and facilities (48.7%), to provide more options to spend free time with colleagues (32.1%) and help employees better integrate into the team (26.4%).

Half of the employees want parks and green spaces near the office, over a third are counting on areas for recreational activities, and more than a quarter want, in the vicinity, areas dedicated to restaurants and cafes.

As for the increased chances of the employees coming to the office to get a promotion or a salary increase, the Romanians’ opinions are divided – 15.2% are sure of this, 37.5% say there is a probability, 33.2% say that the probability is that this will not happen, and 13.9% are sure that the presence in the office will not bring the salary increase.

The Genesis Property survey on the „Campus of the Future” was conducted, at national level, through the iVox platform, on a total sample of 1,031 internet users from Romania. About 58% of the participants are men, almost 72% are between 20 and 45 years old, and over 42% have a net income higher than 4,000 lei.
